互动装置灯弦,旨在模拟风铃的摇摆运动和音乐声音。当人们接触到光线时,光线就会摆动,发出叮叮当当的声音,就像风铃与风相遇时发出的钟声一样。

 

交互主要通过Arduino和Processing来实现。我们把16盏激光灯装载在舵机上,当距离传感器感应到“触摸”时,舵机就会旋转。同时,我们将一系列的感光传感器放置在地面上,当感光传感器接受到光线时,它们将把信号传送给Processing而产生声音。

 

Light String is an interactive installation which aims to simulate the swing movement and musical sound of the wind chime. When people touch the light ray, the light ray will swing and create the Ding-Ding sound just like the wind chime swinging when it encountering with the wind.

 

The interaction is mainly achieved through Arduino and processing. We tied sixteen pieces of laser lights to the servos which will rotate when the distance sensors sense the “touching”. Meanwhile, we put a series of light sensors on the ground which when the light ray swing through will give the signal to the processing to generate the sound.
